Someone just posted a question to the FAQ and I figured it's probably best to make an announcement about it.

Q: Since it's been about a week since the last prompt, I was wondering what's going to happen to the community? Can we expect more prompts in the future or has the community kind of died out?
A: The community is still going ahead as normal, as soon as I have my internet connection back. Sorry for the delay. My phone line was cut off without very much warning at all, so I was unable to put up any warning in the community.

As soon as I have my connection back fully, prompts will resume as normal. Thank you for your concern - I'll put up a modpost in the comm letting everyone know now that I'm stealing internet from my dad :P

In the mean time, I may also put up a prompt suggestions post, just so that the comm doesn't actually die. :)

So, consider this a notification >.>;

I'll put up an ideas / suggestions post in due course.

A lot, if not all, of you probably have your own writing journals, etc, and one thing I've noticed is that a lot of people flock their fic / stories (mine, for example, are all locked on my personal writing comm). I'm just curious to see if anyone feels particularly strongly about having the prompt entries here locked or unlocked.

So, if I can have a minute or so of your time, I'm asking if you'll vote in the below poll to help me decide what to do.

Would you prefer prompt posts were members-only or public?

Members Only
5(45.5%)
Public
6(54.5%)

If you feel particularly strongly about the matter, I'd appreciate it if you gave me feedback - for example, if you voted that you would like entries to be member locked, why? Are there people on LJ or the internet in general who you would prefer not to see your writing? If entries stayed public, would this put you off posting / responding at all?

Thank you! I'll gtfo your fpage now ;)
-Jay :)
